PTFA
Welcome to the Lugwardine Primary Academy Parent Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA).
We are an enthusiastic bunch of parents, carers, teachers and friends all striving to fundraise and give our school extra funds and resources, which will benefit all of our children now and in the future.
Before the global pandemic we held regular events throughout the year, such as disco's, fayres, quiz nights and bingo, encouraging families and the local community to join in, and generally held a monthly PTFA meeting at school which EVERYONE is invited and welcome to attend. For 2020-21 we are looking at new ways of fundraising and are holding our monthly meetings online and we will regular update our Facebook Page and update via the school newsletter.
The PTFA communicate in a number of ways which include pink letters that come home in the book bags, our Facebook Page Lugwardine Primary Academy PTFA, the school text messaging service, our noticeboard next to the reception shelter and Twitter @lugwardineptfa. Have a look and see what we are up too! We use all these communications to keep you informed and up to date with what is going on!
We know life can be busy and there isn’t always time to turn up to a meeting or support all of the events but one very simple way to help us raise funds for our children is signing up to a website called easy fundraising. If you shop online, this is a simple way for you to earn FREE cashback that is then donated to the PTFA to help fund extra resources and support projects. So far, we have raised over £1000 and to join simply click on the link and sign up. https://new.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/lugwardineprimaryacademy
We are always looking for additional pairs of hands when running events, attending a PTFA meeting, thinking of new fun ideas and ways to raise funds. If you would like to get involved, we would love to hear from you, just drop an email to at lugwardineptfa@gmail.com or join one of our meetings. Fundraising events and other useful information can be found on our Facebook page, Lugwardine Primary Academy PTFA.
